Connecting to cloudiax server from Power BI

Hi,

 

Anyone connected to cloudiax server(SAP HANA Database) from Power BI desktop. If yes, please help with the details how to connect and publish..etc.,

    Hi praveenpearl,

     

    Actually, there are nothing particular to connect that datasource.

     

    Steps:

    1. Download SAP HANA driver from SAP official site and install it.
    Use SAP HANA in Power BI Desktop
    2. Open power bi desktop, choose 'Get data' -> 'SAP HANA databsae'.

    3. Input your server name and port number.

    4. Connect data and create report.

    5. Click publish button to publish your report, if you haven't sign in your power bi account, it will request your to sign in your account before publish.

    6. Open power bi service enter to 'setting' -> 'dataset' to update your credentials to enable refresh feature.
