Greetings,
I am hoping and praying someone can help me with this situation.
I am trying to connect power bi desktop to SSMS that is sitting on an Azure virtual desktop. I have tried logging in with my windows and microsoft credetials with no luck.
Does anyone have any experience or suggestions on how to connect?
Thank you in advance!

Hi @Jhamed
According to your description, your SSMS is on a virtual machine, and your Power BI Desktop is not located on your virtual machine, right? if you use your local Power BI Desktop to connect to the SSMS in the virtual machine, you can't connect to it, because your local account and the account in your virtual machine are from two different domains, and you can't connect to AS across domains, you need to make sure that your Power BI is connected Both Desktop and SSMS are on the virtual machine so that they can be connected.
Best Regards!

Hi Yolo,
Thank you for your thoughtful response. I was able to connect to SQL server directly using dataflows...which then I connected my desktop to dataflows.
