Hi @sierranevadita - Power BI doesn't support OAuth2 login (used by Microsoft accounts for OneDrive Personal) in the "Web" connector properly.
In Power BI Desktop:
Go to Home > Get Data > Excel.
Do not paste the OneDrive web link. Instead:
Go to your OneDrive Sync Folder on your local PC (OneDrive folder in File Explorer).
Select the .xlsx file from there.
This works because OneDrive syncs that file locally and Power BI treats it as a local file.
hope try the above approach and let us know.

Hi @sierranevadita ,
Thanks for sharing the details and screenshots this is a known limitation when using OneDrive Personal with Power BI. In addition to @rajendraongole1 respone.
Alternatively, you can create a public sharing link from OneDrive by right clicking the Excel file, selecting Share, and choosing Anyone with the link can view. Then, copy the link and use it in Power BI via Get Data > Web.
However, note that Power BI doesn’t officially support OneDrive Personal as it does for OneDrive for Business. For stable integration, a Work or School account is recommended.
I came across a similar discussion in the Power BI Community that might be helpful for your case.

For more details, please refer to the official Microsoft documentation it provides additional guidance and clarifies current limitations.

OneDrive Personal is different OneDrive for Business. Please try the approach in this post:

Hi Rajen... If you connect to an Excel local file... Will yo have to use a gateway to access it?
Thanks so much for your help!
If you're connecting a local Excel file and need to publish your report to Power BI Service with scheduled refresh, you will need an on premises data gateway. Since Power BI Service (cloud) can't directly access files on your local machine, the gateway acts as a bridge, allowing seamless data updates.
