Connecting to Sharepoint Folder - only have access to 1 folder

I want to connect to a sharepoint folder. I have edit access to the folder, but not to the whole sharepoint site. The folder houses txt files that are updated weekly. When I try to connect in power bi, i see Null for everything and it is not reading the data. Is there any way around this to select the folder path i need and have access to?

Hi  @astano05  ,

If you want to get the path of the sharepoint folder, you need to get the URL of the Excel file stored in the SharePoint library from the browser, and then select the part with the following format:

https://<<sharepoint site root url>>/sites/<<group name, sub site name or teams site name>>/

Go to Power BI and select the connector shown as "SharePoint Folder".

This doesn't help as Power BI requires the site ROOT only, and I don't have access to the site ROOT, only the documents/ folder. Power BI won't accept a link to the documents folder, it only wants the root which I have no access to, so how do I link to just the folder or document directly?
