Hi everyone! I am trying to connect to Power BI Datasets using direct query and also connect to an excel stored on my desktop. Previously this was working with no issues. However, today when I tried to do the same again, I faced with this error. Can anyone help me with this? I already have contributor rights to the dataset and it was working a few days back, wonder if this is an issue with my setup or with the new Power BI updates...

Based on the error message above, it is likely that there is a problem connecting the credentials.
Try to go Transform data, Edit connection -> clean permission>edit permission
If that will not cover your case, you could check the Issues forum here:

Hello! When I click on Transform data, this screen pops up and I clicked on 'Add a local model'. That's when I get the error again.
