Connecting to .CUB file

Hi there,

 

I have a large data file in the .CUB format. Is it possible to connect this to Power BI?

I think that's as good as it gets. Unless you have an instance of SSAS that you can load it into.

Is that an old OLAP cube? Does it open in Excel when you double click it?

I'm not sure. See pic for details. When you double click, it asks you which programme you want to open it with, if you go with Excel it creates a pivot tableCapture.PNG
