Connecting to Azure Synapse SQL with a subscription
I have a subscription to an Azure Synapse database and blob storage. I have
- an Azure Active Directory that looks like (********-****-****-****-************)
- a Workspace ID for that database that looks like s*****************001
- a URL for my blob storage that looks like https://**********.dfs.core.windows.net
Hi , travelsandbooks
As far as I know, if we try to use PBI desktop to access Azure blob data sources, the URL of the Azure blob data source is sufficient for us to connect, and when providing credentials we can use the Key or SAS token as credentials to enter into the desktop to connect, these credentials need to be obtained in the corresponding storage account in the Azure portal, because you have an Azure blob The data source essentially corresponds to an Azure storage account, if you choose the key, it is more convenient, you need to go to the corresponding storage account in the Azure portal to "Access key", and then show and copy it:
If you do not have permission to access the corresponding Azure storage account, you can contact the corresponding administrator of your company to get it, thank you for your time!
