Connecting power bi to postgres using odbc connection

Hello,

I'm quite new with power bi so please apologies if i'm not clear enough.

I've just been trying to set up power bi desktop to connect to postgres using odbc string but i keep getting the error below:

I've checked other posts and the solution was to use the postresql connector but apparently that's not an option in my organization.

Something that also seems odd is the [1] in the connection:

Is there a way to clear cache, maybe?
