Connecting power BI to ArcGIS

Hi there,

I want to use the data from ArcGIS. The data is about assets.  I want to connect the power BI report with ArcGIS online to perform calculations. I could not find any option in 'Get data' option where it gives the option to get data from ArcGIS. I tried to connect the power BI to ArcGIS using ArcGIS Maps for Power BI. Visualization asks to enter credentials, when I entered it gave me the following message:

I am not sure how to connect Power BI to ArcGIS online to get the data. Could anyone please help me?

What type of account you have with ArcGIS?

You have a standard user which has limitations on count and/or monthly wise.

what will help is a Sign in with your ArcGIS organizational account credentials.

Hi @Dunner2020 

If organizational account and and the message is asking for additional licence then I would check with the Admins to confirm  if the ArcGIS account licence is expired and needs to be reinstated or if you are using a enhanced functionality then you will need the additional lisence to do it.

Hi @pranit828,

Is there any other way of connecting with geodatabase? I think if I use ArcGIS map for power BI to connect with geodatabase then I would not use the geodatabase data into other measures. Am I right?

Hi @Dunner2020 - did you ever figure this out? I am working with JSON query to bring in ArcGIS Online data via rest services, but it is problematic. If there is any easier way would love to know.
