Connecting an API to PowerBI
Hello,
I am unable to connect an API weblink that is a table of data to PowerBI, however I could connect the API to Excel.
Furthermore, someone at a different organisation could successfully connect the API in PowerBI with anonymous credentials. This indicates there must be an Admin setting in PowerBI that needs to be changed at my organisation. What settings do I need to connect the API?
Any help or guidance about how to resolve this will be greatly appreciated.

Anonymous , Are you looking for REST API connection?
Rest API

It is not a REST API. On my work laptop it comes up with a DataSource.Error and I can't reach the PowerQuery.
I tried the API weblink on my home laptop, didn't have to change any settings, just logged in with anonymous credentials, and that successfully worked.
So, might there be a setting in the Admin Portal at my organisation which prevents this API from working in PowerBI?

Hi Anonymous
What data source are you using? Is it an Excel file on SharePoint? Please describe the problem in more detail.
