Connecting Sharepoint to Power BI Desktop

Hi,

One of my users is having trouble connecting SharePoint to Power BI Desktop. Whenever they try to sign into SharePoint, they get a message saying that their credentials are not supported. I spoke with my organisation's IT department, and they said it is not a permissions issue, as we have the same permissions. However, when I connect to SharePoint, it works for me. I would like to know what the issue might be. Please see the screenshot below of the issue:

@shak_obad Have them go to File | Options and settings | Data source settings and clear their permissions for that data source and then try again. You should be using Microsoft Account.

@shak_obad Which connector are they using? SharePoint Online List or SharePoint Folder or SharePoint List?

@GeraldGEmerick They are trying to connect to a Sharepoint Folder

@shak_obad Have them go to File | Options and settings | Data source settings and clear their permissions for that data source and then try again. You should be using Microsoft Account.

@shak_obad , Please check under the Transform Data -> DataSource Setting , if there is already a connection, then use "Clear Permission" and try again. User Microsoft Account.

@amitchandak The user checked the Data Source settings, and there was no connection to the SharePoint folder. Should they still clear all of their permissions?

@shak_obad , May be the browser pop-up issue. Try this setting

Go to File-> Options and settings -> Options -> Security Option -> and check : Use My Default browser( Visible after scroll)

Clear deafult browser cache and try to connect again from Power BI
