Hello, I am trying to connect a new oracle database to an existing SSAS tabular model that we use in Live connect mode with a powerBi dashboard.
I have gone through the tutorials and installed the oracle client tools. 64-bit Oracle Client for Microsoft Tools 19c
I am able to connect PowerBi to the database and import the data. Everything works. But in live connect mode you can only connect to one source so I need to pull the data into my SSAS model.
In SSAS I can create a new data source for my oracle database, I can select the tables to import, it creates the tables. But when I try to "Process tables" and actually pull data into SASS if fails with this error.
Failed to save modifications to the server. Error returned: 'OLE DB or ODBC error: [DataSource.Error] An error happened while reading data from the provider: 'No ODAC driver is found on the system. Please visit https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?LinkID=272376 to install the provider.'.
The link tells me to install the tools I have already installed. I believe my setup is correct because it does work in powerBi. In SSAS I can go through DataSource->Import Tables-> Select Tables-> Transform Data and I can see the data in the powerQuery editor. But I can never get the data pulled into the table.
Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Solved, After all of my testing doing a full system reboot solved the problem. I had restarted VS, power bi and everything but it seems to need a reboot.
