Connect to xxx.powerbi.com from PowerBI Desktop

I know that PowerBI Desktop connects to the online service workspace located in app.powerbi.com but is there a way to configure this and change to something else? or is this fixed to only use app.powerbi.com?

The reason for asking is because I have a case wherein my online service is on a different environment and i don't need to use app.powerbi.com? I want to know if this is possible and if anyone has done it, how?

@iamalto , I doubt either private end point is issues or On premise report server is used
