Connect to shared link on OneDrive
Hi,
I have done an analysis in SQL server and exported the result as a csv that I want to create a report and share with another person using Power BI desktop.
I have created a link that looks like this:
https://[sharepoint-adress]/EDdmD-3sm06EukOcZlewBIoB1FPtfCgbcFNGFgywDXDrgQ?e=RYotPi
I am trying to import data using this link but either I get acess denied or I only see an html file. However when I did a web preview the data was correctly showed in Excel Online. I have tried all options and also tried removing the "?e=RYotPi"
Is there any other way to create a report that I can share using Power BI desktop and a file on cloud storage?
Best regards,
Mattias

Hi MatjoCol
I would suggest you have a look at below article and follow it.

Hi and thank you for your answer. Using that guide I am able to connect to the csv. The problem I am having is that I want a collegue of mine to be able to connect to the csv but if I give that link to my personal sharepoint he gets a 404, which it should as he does not have any permissions to view the file. I was hoping that I could provide the link that one-drive creates when I want him to connect to a csv but that does not seem to work. There are a ton of work arounds such as creating a data repository on a shared sharepoint site but it would be very useful if one could use Power BI with shareable links the same way you can use for example Excel.
Best regards,
Mattias
