Connect to a dataflow/export a dataflow

Hi community! 

I'm investigating the opportunity to connect Alteryx to a dataflow. We are using Alteryx more and more and it would be great to not have to redo all the dataflows already created in Power BI. I know there's no direct way of doing it but I'm trying to find an alternative way. One thing we might try is connecting the workspace with the flows to Azure Data Lake Gen 2 and then try connecting Alteryx to there, not sure it will work though. We are fine with connecting to the dataset as well but would prefer the dataflow. We realize we first need to get the dataflow out of our workspace but the question is to what location. 

Anyone else who has experience with connecting dataflows to external softwares, and where did you put the dataflow in order to do so?
