Connect to a Sharepoint 2010 list with Power Bi

Hello community,

I'm trying to connect to Sharepoint list located on a sharepoint 2010 site. I have already connected to sharepoint online sites, but this older version is giving trouble. Have anyone connected to a list in an older version site?

I could create a .iqy file that opens the list in a desktop excel file and has the option to refrech the data from the sharepoint list in the excel file. Couldn't I be able to connect to this .iqy type of file maybe? In order for an automated scheduled refresh?

Any help would be great! Thanks!

Hi Luis,

You need to connect to the ListData.svc using the OData connector. The url looks like this: http://sharepoint2010m/MySite/MySubSite/_vti_bin/listdata.svc/MyListName

Hope this helps!
