Hello,
I want to Connect to Sage Bob 50 using Power BI Desktop.
After several years it's still not possible to connect (ODBC or other) to this source without a paid connector please?
Thank's in advance for your support.
Hi Yass_Pbi,
I tried using the Pervasive ODBC Engine driver but it failed when I tried to get the data from power BI.
It gave me an error that says:
"The specified DSN contains an archticture mismatch between the driver (32) bit pervasive text engine and application (64) bit"
And i'm stuck now, don't know what else to do 😕
Did you find a free solution for this?
You can use third-party tool
Step 1: Add the data source
Starting from the Dataddo control panel, you will first make a data connection to your Sage account so that Dataddo can extract the data. Go to the Sources page and click “New source” in the top right corner.
Type “Sage” into the search box and click the icon for Sage Accounting.
Step 2: Configure the data
Choose the data set you want to work with. In this example, we will use “purchase invoices.” In case you need to use multiple data sets, you’ll create multiple data sources, one for each set.
Input the email for your Sage account, and after hitting “next,” select the specific attributes of that data set that you want to see in Power BI. I don’t need all of these attributes, so I’ll only select those relevant to my needs, as below. It is optional to rename the data source, if needed. Next page-
Step 3: Select the destination type and data syncing parameters
On the “Snapshotting” page, choose which type of destination you want to flow data to. For Power BI, select “Dashboarding App.”
Step 4: Create the data flow to Power BI
Now set up the data connection within your Power BI account. After creating the data source, you'll see the page pictured below. Click "Add Destination."
You can follow the same steps to get it done.

Hello @Anonymous ,
The Dataddo is paid tool. any idea about a free tool please?
Thank's in advance,
@Yass_Pbi , if no paid one then ODBC seems to be the only option
Hello @amitchandak ,
I didn't find the ODBC Install, it's a paid ODBC please?
The first link that you shared contain CData (Paid Connector also).
Thank's in advance for your help.
