Hi all,
I try to connect to Dynamics 365. I get until the screen where I can select the entities.
Even when selecting only one entity it seems there is too much data for PBI too load.
I do always get an error like this:
DataSource.Error:=Data: Could not resolve remote name: xxx.xxx.dynamics.com
I saw an article where Excel was used as a layer between Dynamics and PBI to load via PowerQuery into the Excel, but it is from 2015.
Is there a build in solution for the problem meanwhile?
Thanks in advance!
In which step did you get this error?
PowerBI is a great tool for reporting on and analyzing data, from a wide range of sources, including Dynamics 365. To set this up, you must connect to Dynamics 365 as a PowerBI data source, so PowerBI can load your CRM data. Here is a blog which provide step-by-step instructions for setting this up in PowerBI Desktop. Please refer to the link below.
