Hello,
I am trying to connect some excel data stored in One Drive as described in the article attached (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/desktop-use-onedrive-business-links). I am getting an error message that says: "Access to the resource is forbidden".
Can you please support with this?
Many thanks,
MariosChr90

Hi @Anonymous,
After test,i t has no issues that I am logging in with different accounts in Power BI and One Drive. But when you get data from OneDrive, you must type OneDrive credentials rather than use your Power BI account, please follow the steps below.
1. Click File->Options and Settings->Data source settings->clear your previous permission.
2. In Power BI desktop, type the link, please choose the Organizational Account to sign in(because use OneDrive for business, type your Organizational Account of OneDrive here), it will work fine after clicking connect. In this part, if you use windows authentication, it will return the error message, because you current power BI account is not windowns account.
Best Regards,
Angelia
Please also note that on One Drive when I was copying the link I set permission "Anyone with the link can view and edit", thus it must not have any issues that I am logging in with different accounts in Power BI and One Drive. Furthermore, the dashboards I am creating are for broad use (i.e. various people in my team should have the access to view and edit).
