Confusion about Microsoft Graph Security and Azure Identity Risk events?
Hi Anonymous
Sorry I can't reproduce your scenario on my side, I'd like to suggest you raise it to support team for better advice:

For all reading this, let me articulate and clarify this further. Microsoft has a centralized API solution known as Microsoft Graph - this is for all things API at Microsoft. I have Power BI Pro and also a Gateway for access to on-prem data and to permit data sources to be refreshed from the web service without my workstation running the report.
I also have identities in Microsoft Azure Active Directory (AAD) and there is both a beta and v1 API that I use today in Graph Explorer. It works just fine and returns events. Notice the following in the Power BI Gateway when I go to add a data source to the Gateway and notice I am able to query the Graph Explorer for Identity Risk events just fine. My first question is where is any documentation on Power BI (not Graph Explorer) on what to add here on the Gateway (i.e. examples) and also the next question is, if I can clearly add it to the gateway, how do I add this to the Power BI Pro Desktop client so that when I publish the report, the data source defined below will get used?
I see that in Microsoft Power BI Pro Desktop, there is a Get Data option with an app called Microsoft Graph Security (beta). Was this created to replace the custom app discussed and referenced in these threads to do the same?
