Hi everyone,
Thank you in advance for reading my post.
As the title of my thread states, I am having a hard time configuring my slicer date with a default range.
The upper and lower date bounds are specified within the data I receive. I tried using a calculated column containing dates within this range and sort of integrate it into my data model but this appears to take me nowhere.
I would be delighted to find some thoughts on this one.
Thank you again,
regards.

I don't think so. The approach I mentioned only works for single select, not for ranges.
See if there is a custom slicer visual that supports range modification.
This can be done with a single slicer value by substituting your column values with their text equivalent and replacing the target value with a default ( like "Current snapshot") but I don't think this can be done with a range slicer. Can you give an example of the business case?
Hi @lbendlin ,
Thank you for your response. I am not sure If I m grasping your idea.
Basically, I have a date slicer which is synchronized along the pages of my report.
Let us say I have a custom table which consists of 3 columns and one row :
Beginning_date Ending_date Refresh_date
01/09/2021 07/09/2021 07/09/2021
My client wants to put the range of all his date slicers by default to the range defined by this custom table.
Do you think it is feasible ?
Thank you in advance.
