Conditional formatting using icons

I am using conditional formatting in a matrix using icons:

1. I am not able to see a "Dont format blank values" option while using icons. Is this option not available yet? Is there a way to not apply conditional formatting on blank cells?

2. Without using measure help and directly using the conditional formatting option in PBI, can I not apply this to the matrix subtotals? (Not applying to the cells in dark grey)

Thank you!

  • Hi Anonymous

you can use "is blank" rule and "no icon" paramete

Note one of the Considerations and limitations.

    • Conditional formatting applies only to the values of Table or Matrix visuals, and doesn't apply to any subtotals, grand totals, or the Total row.
