Conditional formatting scatter chart visual - May 2022

Where has the conditional formatting (data colors) moved in the May 2022 in the Format Pane for the scatter chart visual?
( and as a side note/rant why is the documentation not up-to-date ? )

Any idea why the conditional formatting options seems to disappear when I add a Legend? It then automatically assigns a different collor to each marker without out an option for conditional formatting.
