Can you share where is your 2nd image ?I can not find it in waterfall chart.

And in waterfall chart, the legand is generated antomaticlly and if you want to modify the color , you can go to this :

Hi @v-yueyunzh-msft
As I mentioned in the above question, This is not a default waterfall chart, This is custom waterfall chart by name Simple Waterfall chart. Which is taken from microsoft store.

Hi , @Anonymous

Sorry, but i test the Simple waterfall chart in my side , it also do not have the "Conditional formatting":

And for your end need , what do you want to show in the visual?

Hi @v-yueyunzh-msft
As u are using MIN and MAX (colums left and right side) for those I need to apply conditional formating as applied for those columns which are there in between to the left and right columns (A,C,B)as mentioned in ur visual.

Is that possible to apply conditional formating by using DAX or whatever it might be?

Hi , @Anonymous

I test in my side , the "Define Pillars" just seems to set the column as total column.

When we select on this , the column A and B will be seemed to as "Total":
