Conditional formatting (Icons/colors) not working

How can I get icons to show based on predefined text values? All I can seem to get to show is the broken image icon.  This is in Desktop even before the report has been published.

Anonymous Are your icons web-addressable? Consider using UNICHAR characters? Not sure what your Status field is or the formula, etc.

I do not know what "web-addressible" means (and neither does Google). The field values are fixed (meaning clients can chose from specific options).

UNICHAR characters are A) ugly, B) cannot be colored for specific conditions and C) are not consistent across browsers/OS's.

Example: Thers is no way to show a green unicode shape like a circle for "Accepted", a yellow circle for "InProgress" and a red circle for "Rejected", etc.

    HI Anonymous,

What type of image URL are you work on? Can you please share some samples with similar structures?

In fact, current power bi does not support recognizing the image URL that includes any redirection or additional authorizations. For this scenario, I'd like to suggest you use the root image URL instead. (e.g. www.xxxx.com/xxxx/xxxx.jpg)

BTW, you can also try to store these image files into the data table and import them to power:
