Conditional format not working on app

Hi guys.

I have conditional formating for a UNICHAR(9899) object.

The font colour changes depending on a value.

It works 100% in the desktop and when I publish the report and view it on my machine through the app, it works as expected. I have viewed it from a few users work stations, and it works fine.

But for one particular user, all the objects are black.

They are using the same OS and browser.

Any ideas why and any solutions?

cheers

Ian

    Hi IanCockcroft

Sorry I can’t reproduce your problem, I’ve created a sample and publish to app as your requested. all the formatted values works fine in my side. I’m testing several browser including chrome, edge , and IE. Not sure what’s the point.

Hi Dina, we worked out the issue, were able to recreate the anomaly.

I created the report on windows 7. Published it and updated the app.

anyone viewing the report from app.powerbi with a windows 10 OS got the anomaly.

(Maybe MS would wnt to look into it further)

I created a new table and copied and inserted the circle symbol from MS WORD.

Conditional formatting on this symbol then worked.

        thanks for your help
