Conditional drill through based on Slicer filters
It seems like conditional drill through works if the items being selected are in charts or matrix or table visuals but not when the selected items are in a slicer. For example, the "Go" button here...

The drill troughs are used for visualizations to get detail of the values you are seeing, altough slicers are visualizations in fact they serve has filters and do not work in the same way has the other visualizations.
In this case the best option is to use the sync slicer option with a page navigation button.

Thanks for your inputs. That is certainly a valid alternative and I was able to get it to work.
