Conditional display of row values in Matrix visual

Hi All,

For my client requirtment i am using Matrix visual with three fields in Rows and multiple measures.

Row columns are

Headers

Sub headers

Names.

Below are the cases on data

1)Headers mapped to sub headers and sub headers mapped to names(hierarchy mapping is consistent).

2)Header directly mapped to Names (hierarchy mapping is inconsistent i.e sub headers are missing)

with the above data configuration i see blank rows showing up as row value when hierarchy mapping is inconsistent i.e sub headers are missing in matrix visual and the numbers are displayed .

In order to bypass the above limitaton if we map the header names to sub headers then more reduntant names are shown up in the visual.(Header and sub header are same)

Could you please let me know how can i display only Header and names if sub header is missing in the mapping.I dont want to have  blank header row or repeted row headers in the matrix.please find the screenshot for referecnce

In the below highlighted cases i would like to have only Header and names.

Hi @Anonymous,

Unfortunately, you cannot directly prevent these blank parts shows on the matrix if they caused by hierarchy level value missing.

How did your hierarchy structure design? I think you can try to rebuild your hierarchy to lookup the next level if the current level missed. (start at second hierarchy level)
