Hello,
I am trying to conditionally format a bar using field values. For testing, I'm using simple measures: PH = 5 and color = "BLACK"
When I go to bars > Color > fx > field value and select the color measure, the color of the bar doesn't change. Using format style 'Rules' doesn't format the bar either. However, I am able to conditionally format the background of the bar chart using both the field value measure and Rules. This is occuring in Power BI Desktop and Service. I have tried on both August 2024 and September 2024 Power BI Desktop versions and I'm getting the same result. I believe this wasn't an issue in the past. Perhaps I'm missing something. I'd appreciate any assistance. Thank you.

Thanks for responding! Looks like I needed to have a y-axis. It's all good now.
