Hi, I'm wondering if someone can help me figure out why my conditional formatting isnt working in Power Bi.
I need to colour code this by Y axis - Mark- My datatype is Whole Number for this.
See below Condition:
Im using Average because that would bring the whole number as I dont want the Sum or Count.
The count only gives me how many students got 6 or 4 which I dont want. I need students who scored 6 to be Green and so forth,
Display- it hasnt updated any colours - its only reading RED. Please help
Hi Ritaf, sorry I wont be able to. I have a lot of Tabs running for this Dashboard and its not a sample data , but I can check and send some screenshots for you if you like?
Hi @prasadsuzie
I just don't understand what you need to do.
Isn't it possible to prepare a small example without using your actual data?
So I can explain and demonstrate how conditional formatting works
Hi @Ritaf1983 so here's what I'm trying to achieve. I have a list of assessments and Marks. I have put the Marks on Y and AssessmentName on X. I want the conditional formatting to colour code the bar graph according to the marks the students get.
I have set the condition and sent screenshot in my 1st query. I hope i'm making sense. Please let me know if there's anything wrong that I am not understanding about Conditional formatting?
I have set the Marks datatype as whole Number so in condtion i have selected Average (because this will return the exact mark)
Also I am using SQL query to get data.
My apologies, but I need examples that I can work with to help (not screenshots).
You can find tips on how to attach it to the question in the post on the link below.
