Conditional Formatting - based on count of text

I have a table set up in PBI with a column of names.  If the same name shows up multiple times, I want conditional formating to kick in.  That formatting needs to work as I adjust dates.

This looks like it would work but it's not

  • Hey Anonymous ,

without detailed knowledge of your data and the distribution of the data, it's not possible to provide more advise then asking: what's happening if you are using the agent name and change the summarization "Distinct count".

You can also consider creating a pbix that contains sample data, still reflects your data model. and allows to recreate the issue. Upload the file to onedrive or dropbox and share the link. If you are using xlsx to create the sample data, share this file as well.

      My column looks like this

      Name

      Bob Smith

      Bob Smith

      Bill Evans

Since Bob Smith shows up in the table more than one time, I want conditional formatting to kick in.  Is this possible?

        Hey Anonymous

        this is my table:

        This is my table visual:

This is the conditional formatting I used for the background color:

So it's difficult to say what's not working.
