Conditional Formatting Option Not Enabled in Power BI August 2024 Release

Hello

I have the latest version of Power BI, the August 2024 release. I'm trying to apply conditional formatting to a matrix table visual, but I can't do it because the conditional formatting option isn't available. In fact, when you right-click on the field to see the options where it should be seen to apply the formatting, the conditional formatting option does not appear.

Does anyone know how I can enable it or why it doesn't appear?

Hi @Syndicate_Admin ,

To apply conditional formatting, select a Table or Matrix visualization in Power BI Desktop or the Power BI service. In the Visualizations pane, right-click or select the down-arrow next to the field in the Values well that you want to format. Select Conditional formatting, and then select the type of formatting to apply.

Therefore, please set it in ‘values’ and not in ‘rows’. More details can be found in the documentation: Apply conditional table formatting in Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

If your Current Period does not refer to this, please clarify in a follow-up reply.

Best Regards,

Clara Gong
