Condition icons disappear when adding a new column to table. Why?

Hi All,

I have a table with various columns. The last column is a measure with a condition (shown below)

The table up until now has been working fine and icons are showing up how they are suppossed to.

However I need to expand on the table and make a comment section. Once I bring that column into my table everything thats "1" (meaning the red downward triangle) disappears. Putting the column first or last doesn't matter, all my "1"s are gone.

Any ideas on what's causing this?

I think i have same issue with PBi desktop.  Matrix was fine, showed icons associated with each value.  Until I swapped the date field for a different date field.  Now it only shows icons on sub date values, not on the year values.  I've tried reset to default, playing with visual setting but I see no way of bringing back the icons... other rhan recreating the matrix (haven't tied it yet, I'm stubburnly looking for soln.)

Hi, @mindfulmike

According to your description, after you added a column to your table, condition icons didn't work properly, right?

First of all, this conditional judgment display icon is judged based on the value returned by your metric, and for your problem, you need to check:

(1)When you place a new field, does it affect the filter context of the measure, causing the calculated value of the measure to produce other values?

(2)You can put the measure in a table to see if the corresponding value meets your needs, and if not, you need to modify the return result of your measure again.

If this method does not meet your needs, you can provide us with your special sample data and the desired output sample data in the form of tables, so that we can better help you solve the problem.

Thank you for your time and sharing, and thank you for your support and understanding of PowerBI!

Best Regards,
