Comparison between table columns in Power BI

I'm Brazilian and Beginner in Power BI.

I need to make a comparison between two columns in a table, in case, discipline and shift. I need you to return to the number of lines that coincide with a discipline (mathematics) and a shift (daytime), for example.

I have searched Google and YouTube, but I have not found a solution.

Could someone help me?

    Hey!

    Based on your description, I created a table with values so I could try and find a solution for you. Here is my table:

    I imported the table into power bi, and then used the following expression to count instances of where values under discipline was 'mathematics' and values under shift was 'daytime.'

    Msr Countrows =
    CALCULATE(
        COUNTROWS(Sheet1),
        FILTER(Sheet1,Sheet1[Discipline] = "Mathematics"),
        FILTER(Sheet1,Sheet1[Shift] = "daytime")
    )

    I put a card on my power bi report and dropped the result of the measure into it:

      One way would be to create a New Table with a formula like:

      DisciplineShifts = SUMMARIZE(Disciplines,[Discipline],[Shift],"Count",COUNT(Disciplines[Discipline]))
  • Profpc can you provide sample data and expected result? Your question is not very clear.
