Comparing Products - Setting Up the Data
Hi guys - sorry, super new to this.
I want to compare products that are either diesel or electric, of a certain type and size.
I tried doing this with a single table of data from Excel - but even with interactions between slicers turned off, the slicers were being affected by eachother. So I read this is due to them being from the same table.
So I changed my Excel data so that there was a table for electric and a table for diesel. But now I am completely lost because I also need fields that are common to both.
Ideally I would have a couple of slicers across the top that affect everything below:
Select type i.e. "Car" this would then reduce both the number of electric and diesel products.
Select size i.e. "Small" this would further reduce both the number of electric and diesel products.
Below that slicers specific to either electric or diesel, but affected by the above:
Then, in the first slicer all of the electric models would be displayed in those type and size categories.
In the second slicer all of the diesel models would be displayed in those type and size categories.
Can you advise on how best to set out the data for this? Multiple tables or just one? How to I get slicers that filter across multiple tables. Any advice would be appreciated!

So I have made a bit more progress, here is the link:

My issue is that the Product Name Slicer still seems to affect the other Product Name Slicer.
And vice versa.
Also the Image tiles don't seem to work properly.
Finally at the bottom I'd really like it so the Price field of the left Product Name and ther right Product Name are compared. But this doesn't seem to work.
