Hello,
I am working to map out various clinical sites to show visually how many different companies are using a single clinical site.
I am receiving a lot of address data from a few different companies and compiling it together in a single exel spreadsheet.
I sort the addressses into columns: Country, State, City, Zip, Address. I also have my Location block in PowerBI Map set to this, drilled down to adderss, and my legend set to Company. Each data category is caterogrized correctly as well.
I have noticed that unless the two address are exactly the same, they won't share a bubble in the PowerBI map, and it will only show as one company using that address.
For example:
These are clearly the same address, however only one bubble shows up for company X. I am getting a ton of data and don't have time to sift through all of them to make sure they are all exactly the same, and I am getting updates to this list about once a week.
| Company | Clinical Site | Country | State | City | Zip | Address |
| X | A | USA | Kansas | Wichita | 67205 | 2260 S. Break Road |
| Y | B | USA | Kansas | Wichita | 67205 | 2260 South Break Rd. |
What am I doing wrong? Is there a better way to approach this?
what are you expecting to see, them on the same bubble, if so then you can't have the legend set to company. its hard to know without seeing what you have set up and how.
