Common IDs between two days

Hi

 

I have a table with ID and date field.

 

using calculate table , i have created two dates tables as date1 and date1

 

In report view i have created two slicers with date1 and date2.

Eg: if i use the date1 slicer with 21st January 2021 and date2 with 22nd January 2021. i have to achieve common IDs between two dates. 

Please suggest how can i achieve this?

    rajendraongole1 , why would you create 2 date tables?

    Create one proper Date table, connect it to your Data table via Date column. In the slicer use Between option to choose between dates.

      Hi ERD - Thanks for your response.

       

      I am not expecting the datesbetween functionality using dates to find out the common ID between two dates i have created two date tables seperately.

       

      here on 21st Jan we have some IDs right

      Like that 22nd Jan also we have some id. 

       

      so, in 21st and 22nd Jan need to findout the common IDs.

        Hi,  rajendraongole1 

        Not very clear.

        Perhaps you can try to copy another date column in your fact table, and then associate the two date columns in the fact table with the date fields in the two date tables.
