Comma Separator Formats in Power BI
Hi Anonymous ,
Microsoft reply:
This is by design. Power BI Desktop or Service does not support reading formatting setting from Windows. The only localization setting that we use from Windows is the OS language.

Hey! Welcome to the Power BI Community 👋
Power BI visuals sometimes override your system settings. To get the Indian comma format (like 1,00,000) in visuals, you’ll need to manually format the fields in the modeling tab or use a custom format string like #,##,##0.
Also, if you're dealing with comma formatting and want an easy way to test or insert commas properly, try our Comma Inserter tool – super handy for quick fixes!
