Combo Charts- stacked and clustered intermixed?

I have the need to do a combo chart that has bars (or area) but allows me to set one axis to stacked and the other to clustered.

I want to show overall sales on one axis, and then under it I want to show breakdowns by areas.  So each area should stack.

Another example might be charting profits.

I want one bar to be revenue, and then another series be stacked expenses.  If those expenses stack up to be "shorter" than revenue, well then profit hurray!

If they stack TALLER than revenue...well we had a loss.

This is very easy to do in Excel but I still cannot seem to find anyway to accomplish this in Power BI?

Hi @OneWithQuestion,

I'm not quite understand about your requirement. Could you please share us some screenshots about it? Like your expected chart in Excel.

Thanks,
Xi Jin.

Ah of course:

*To be clear the 2nd example is not as ideal as it does not have stacked bars.
