How do people create combination charts in PowerBi? For example, a table/matrix that lines up well with various graphs (using small multiples), or maybe with bar charts. I am having trouble hacking this - it doesn't seem possible like it is in Tableau. See picture below for example, you can't really line them up well. I'd love to here how people do this! Is there a way in powerBi to do this besides lining up a table & a graph as closely as possible?
@daniel_krantz_4 - This is one of the biggest challenges you'll need to get over when switching over from Tableau (I've been there). You need to stop thinking about how you'd create something in Tableau, and start thinking how you'd create it in Power BI.
In your case, you seem to be using the table / matrix for headers for the Small Multiple. I would rely on the Small Multiple Titles for this, and perhaps give the line chart some more room. The Titles menu can be seen below:
and will give you the titles row seen in my example:
In general, the best way to align charts is through the Properties menu, seen below:
Or by using the Align options on the Format menu:
