Columns width resetting in data view

Hi, I can't find an answer to this. My data tables in Data view keeps defaulting to a really wide column width for those with alot of detail in. I try to shorten them and save but when I next reopen ...

    Hi JVP 

    I'm sorry I didn't understand right away.

    In any case, there is no way to affect Data View.
    As an alternative, you can use tooltips and have the user see long texts in floating windows in the table itself
    or export it to Excel

    HI Ritaf1983 , this seems to only apply to the table visual, while my issue is with the Data View.

        Ritaf1983 OK thanks. I guess I will jhust have to deal with the limitation.
