Columns do not summarize
Hi Folks,
I hope one of you is able to help us.
Issue: when we upload a table in an existing file (Composite model); the summarize button does not show in the fields area even though the format is a number.
This means that we can not drag automatically them into a values fields. We can not build matrix, cards, etc...
We have checked all Query Options but no solution at all. Apart from that, in the model itself, the summarize button shows up, which makes no sense...
The only solution is to upload the table into a new brand file... Nevertheless, we have been working in this file for 2 months and we have 20 tables on it, relations, bookmarks and so on... We know that we can convert it also into a measure but imagine the over workload...
What do you folks think is the solution?

Anonymous , In nov release sometime it does not show the icon , but on right click it to give option to summarize the the column . Just clear the cache from option and setting and try.

Would you please show us the sample pbix with the error table? Based on my test, it works well in the latest version of power bi desktop? Would you please try to update your desktop to the latest version?
