Columns change to vertical lines when adding Line Value

Hi there

When I add Line Values to a line and column chart, why do the columns change to lines?

Many thanks!

  • Anonymous are you drilling from fiscal year to date? Try two thing:

    - remove fiscal year and see data by date (for testing)

    - on format pane, change the x-axis to categorical than continuous

IT is not a data issue

    Many thanks for your reply

It's the same for both 'line and stacked column chart' and 'Line and clustered column chart'

  • Anonymous not sure why but works fine for me, do you have anything on legend/column series?

Nothing really complicated - would the Date cause issues?
