Hi all,
If I have a table called "EntryTimes"
Within the table there are columns for "StaffMember" and then also "EntryDateTime".
The "EntryDateTime" column will have multiple entries for a staff member on the same day eg:
01/01/24 07:00:00
01/01/24 08:00:00
01/01/24 09:12:00
I would like to only see the latest entry per day per staff member.
Is there a measure or some DAX I can use to filter out earlier entry times per day, per staff member so I am only left with the latest entry time per day, per staff member?
Thanks
Is it a measure I need?
I have multiple times per date and I just need to see the latest time per date so one entry for every single date, not just the latest date?
I assumed it would be some DAX to create a new table?
Hopefully that makes sense.
@DataSophomore , refer the measure
Last Status = var _max = maxx(filter(ALLSELECTED(Data), Data[Staff ID] = Max(Data[Staff ID])), Data[Date])
return
CALCULATE(max(Data[Status]), filter((Data) , Data[Date] =_max))
