I am doing an update to a current report, but when I did so, the time column on the table (hour of the day) displays two times for the same ID, but the second row for that ID is all blank but the time. An example:
ID | Date | Time | Colour | Odour | Location |
12345 | 02/11/2023 | 09:30:00 | None | None | Beach |
09:57:00 |
But that second time '09:57:00' does not show anywhere on the data table view. The second time is not necessary and it only creates more empty rows, how can I edit or adjust this? The column is not summarized and it has no DAX on it.
You can see blank in power query also then do the following steps.
1) Go to power query
2) select the down arrow of a column where null/ blank values are there
3) click on Remove Empty
If you are getting the Null values only in Power Bi report like table/ matrix. then just simply go to visual filter> select your time column > unselect you specific time which you dont want
OR
select your ID column > select all expect blank>
I hope I answered your question!
Thanks for all your help! I had checked those already, I was able to find out why it was showing like that, it was some werid formatting the person working on the project before me edited and when updating the visuals it happened that the 'blank' cells were actually just altered rows white text
