Column name is not refreshable

Hi

I have an excel table and I "Get" date into Power BI. Then I changed one column name from Rep to SalesPerson in Excel and went back to PowerBI and refresh but I got error message saying that column Rep was not found and in PBI fileds, the old name stayed "Rep". 

Is that by design? Thank you very much.

@lastnn30 , If you Rename something at source; that has been renamed, or type has been changed or used in column or measure in power bi then it will error. How power bi will know the new name. It will have a new column and one removed column

You can try to open your Advanced Editor in Power Query Editor and check the applied codes to replace "Rep" with "SalesPerson" in Change Type step.
