I would like to have the column names for the X-axis be on top of the columns instead of below the axis for easier identification.
So basically from something like this:
To something like this:
The charts are using different data, but on the second one each column has its name label on top or below it.
Is there any way to do this in power BI?
Many Thanks.

Hi @Anonymous
Sadly, there is no option to display data series in this type of graph or to change the X axis position.
Data visualization is very difficult to read and draw conclusions based on two options in the images
In this comparison, the categories are ranked according to the budget gap.
Comparing differences side by side is more challenging than comparing them vertically from top to bottom.
As an alternative, I recommend using a "tablegraph", as shown in the picture.
The categories are clearly visible to you.
Comparing things is very easy,
As a bonus, you also save dashboard space.
If you follow my recommendation and change the presentation method,

Hi,
For the selected visual go to the format visual under Visualizations. Under that, select position inside data label. There you can choose the option of Outside end in position. Now your value will be displaying as per your requirement.
PS: please select this as answer if your requirement is met
