Column header as slicer

I'm sure this is elementary but I'm stumped. My data is set up with headers like this: Store Nbr, City, State Sales, LW Sales, LW YAGO, L4W Sales, L4W YAGO, etc. but need to vizualize it in 3 bucke...

Excellent I see how this could work but the Brand and Item Columns are text and the sales are numbers. When I combine them it doesn't seem to work. what am I missing?
