Column Data type
I am getting data from web in table form , which contains various types of columns with different data types like text, id,date etc . So is there any way that power bi can take data in that data ty...
Generally it tries to identify the correct data type but sometimes it cannot or makes a mistake if the first few thousand rows are one type and then a different type gets thrown in later. This usually works very well but could understand that this may not work well for web.
You can always just change the type, right-click change type.
