Column Chart Fields

Hi SamWiseOwl. I have tried Anonymous suggestion however that hasnt seem to resolve the problem. The measure also doesn't seem to work with the data and causes some other issues. The problem itself is that when i apply a slicer to the page it filters visuals to only show columns that have data whereas I still want to see the columns that have no data. I have tried your original suggestion of showing items with no data however that only works until a slicer is applied.

Can you provide a sample of the problem?

Slicers always want to apply a filter to the visual. As suggested above using cross highlighting on something like a tree map will highlight the matching data.

    Unfortunantely not as the data is sensitive. I have done a lot of researching online about this and I think it's as you say a slicer will always filter the visual and there isn't a simple way around this.
